Michelle Cosby
Pediatric Sleep Consultant
Winchester, Tn.
Michelle Cosby is a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant with Sleep Wise Consulting. She provides customized sleep solutions to families with babies, toddlers, and young children. Michelle earned her BS and RDH degree in 2012 and began her career as a Dental Hygienist. While dentistry has long been a passion of hers, her heart for children and families ultimately led her to pursue pediatric sleep consulting full time.
Michelle’s Experience
For the past five years, Michelle has devoted her energy to supporting children in foster care and those navigating difficult home environments. This work, rooted in compassion and advocacy, deepened her passion for helping families find stability, security, and rest. Today, as a sleep consultant, Michelle combines her medical background, her experience with children, and her own personal sleep journey to guide families toward healthy, restorative sleep.
"I was optimistic about sleep training based on experiences that my other friends had with Sleep Wise. Still, I did not anticipate the phenomenal results that I got. A routine schedule, consolidated naps, and a full night’s sleep restored my family’s health, made us more attentive to our child’s needs, and gave us back time together to continue our happy marriage!"

Michelle’s Sleep Story
Michelle is married and the proud mom of three daughters—Emerson, Attie, and Piper. Each of their unique stories has shaped her passion for sleep consulting.
Her first daughter, Emerson, was born after years of infertility and IVF. With reflux, colic, and sleepless nights, Michelle believed exhaustion and living in survival mode was simply part of motherhood—until she realized it didn’t have to be.
When Attie joined the family through adoption, her sleep struggles were constant, waking every 30 minutes throughout the night. With the support of a Sleep Wise consultant, Michelle experienced firsthand how healthy sleep could transform not only a child’s development but also the parent–child bond.
Piper, their youngest, was born with a rare lung disorder. Once again, Michelle turned to Sleep Wise for support in creating a gentle plan that honored Piper’s medical needs while still providing the restorative rest her body required.
Through each season, Michelle experienced the life-changing benefits of healthy sleep for both children and parents. Her daughters now thrive as confident sleepers, and Michelle is able to show up rested, present, and fully engaged for her family.
