YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED.
Do I need prior experience or certification to become a sleep consultant with Sleep Wise?
No prior experience or certification is required! We provide comprehensive training as part of the Sleep Wise onboarding process. You’ll learn everything you need to become a confident, effective sleep consultant—even if you’re brand new to the field.
What kind of training and support will I receive?
Sleep Wise provides a comprehensive training program including 4 full days of live virtual training with our founder Katie Pitts, followed by 6 months of mentorship and ongoing coaching. You’ll receive over 200 hours of sleep education and hands-on support to prepare you for success.
Once certified, you’ll receive ongoing mentorship, access to proven resources, and support from an experienced team invested in your success.
Is this a remote position? Can I set my own hours?
Yes! Sleep Wise consultants work remotely and have complete flexibility in their schedules. You can work from home or anywhere else you choose. This is not a traditional 9–5 job—you decide how many clients you take on and when you work, making it a great fit for parents or anyone seeking work-life balance.
Is this role part-time or full-time? What can I expect to earn?
That’s up to you. Most consultants work 15–20 hours per week and earn $20,000–$40,000 annually. Those working full-time (up to 40 hours/week) often earn $70,000–$120,000. Income depends on your client load, availability, and commitment—what you put in is what you get out.
Will Sleep Wise provide me with clients?
While consultants are primarily responsible for growing their own client base through local marketing and outreach, we know that getting started can feel overwhelming. That’s why we do our best to provide some initial leads when you first launch, so you can build confidence, gain experience, and start generating referrals—which are one of the most powerful sources of future clients. You’ll also receive marketing tools, resources, and support to help you build and maintain momentum.
Who is a great fit for this job?
Successful Sleep Wise consultants are compassionate, driven, organized, and committed to helping families. Many of our team members are parents themselves, looking for meaningful, flexible work they can do from home.
Does everyone who applies get hired?
No, we don’t hire everyone who applies. Sleep Wise is committed to building a team of the best, most dedicated sleep consultants. To ensure the right fit, we have a thoughtful interview process that helps us understand your goals, experience, and passion for helping families. This way, we can maintain our high standards and support your success from day one.
Why should I join Sleep Wise instead of starting my own sleep consulting business?
Joining Sleep Wise means you get access to an established brand, proven business systems, expert mentorship, and a supportive team—all of which help you grow faster and avoid common pitfalls of starting alone. Plus, our marketing resources and client service protocols make building your business easier.
How soon can I start?
Once you complete the application process and training schedule is set, you can start your training and mentorship journey promptly. We offer multiple training cohorts throughout the year.
