You will receive a detailed questionnaire to complete via e-mail. This needs to be returned 2 days prior to the consultation so that your child’s individualized sleep plan can be written.
Look at your calendar to find a time when you have no less than 2 weeks of “normal” activity (preferably no vacations, weddings, doctor’s appointments, work schedule changes, etc.). The best time to begin this sleep overhaul is when your child will be in his or her typical environment for two consistent weeks.
Ensure that everyone is on board to work towards the fantastic changes ahead for your little one! Success will be reached more quickly (and be a more permanent change) when your spouse, nanny, and anyone else who regularly cares for your little one is on the same page.
Using the link sent to you via email, review the quote, sign the contract, and pay the invoice. Completing these steps immediately will allow you to confirm your consultation time with your consultant.
Consider the age of your child in establishing and maintaining realistic expectations for the process. Total sleep transformations aren’t made in one night, so begin when you are fully committed! We will discuss the nuisances of your little one’s exact age but know that success will depend on your consistency in following your consultant’s recommendations.
Our infant plan typically lasts two weeks. While many infants experience fantastic improvements in sleep quite quickly, your consultant’s advice and guidance are available to you, coupled with your consistency, through the duration of the plan until your child has met his or her sleep goals.
Our toddler plan is generally three weeks in length. We often say that this is a marathon- not a sprint! We include older children heavily in the plan through the use of child-friendly charts and visuals. This plan generally takes longer because toddlers are smart and persistent. Take an opportunity to get your child happily prepared for the great sleep ahead!
