Laine Adams is a New York City–based Sleep Wise Consultant with a background in early childhood education and a passion for supporting families. She holds a B.S. in Communications Studies and an AMS Montessori credential in Early Childhood Education. For many years, she worked as a co-lead Montessori teacher for children ages 3–6, guiding young learners through important developmental stages while building strong relationships with parents along the way.
Laine’s Experience
Throughout her career, Laine worked closely with families, maintaining open communication and offering guidance rooted in child development. She helped create continuity between home and school and prioritized building trust with parents so they felt supported and understood. Before teaching, she spent several years nannying, which gave her a deep appreciation for individualized care and the unique rhythms of each family.
Her professional experience, combined with her calm and collaborative approach, allows her to meet families where they are and offer support that feels both practical and encouraging. She believes in listening without judgment and helping parents build routines that align with their values and comfort level so they can experience more restful nights and calmer, more connected days.
Outside of work, Laine enjoys exploring New York City with her husband and seven-year-old daughter — from morning strolls through Central Park to playground hangs and school drop-off walks that become mini adventures. She also treasures quiet moments with family in New Jersey.
"I was optimistic about sleep training based on experiences that my other friends had with Sleep Wise. Still, I did not anticipate the phenomenal results that I got. A routine schedule, consolidated naps, and a full night’s sleep restored my family’s health, made us more attentive to our child’s needs, and gave us back time together to continue our happy marriage!"

Laine’s Sleep Story
My passion for sleep consulting began with my own experience as a mother. When my daughter was six months old, I worked with a sleep consultant, and it truly changed our lives. That experience gave me firsthand understanding of how deeply sleep impacts the entire family — not just a child’s sleep, but their mood, behavior, learning, and the overall rhythm of daily life.
As both a mom and an educator, I understand that every child and family is different. My goal is to help parents feel heard, supported, and confident while creating healthy sleep habits that work for their family. I want families to know they don’t have to figure it all out alone.
