"I was optimistic about sleep training based on experiences that my other friends had with Sleep Wise. Still, I did not anticipate the phenomenal results that I got. A routine schedule, consolidated naps, and a full night’s sleep restored my family’s health, made us more attentive to our child’s needs, and gave us back time together to continue our happy marriage!"

Maddy’s Sleep Story

My relationship with Sleep Wise started long before I became a consultant. When my daughter, Rowan, was six months old, our family was navigating feeding and medical challenges, I was experiencing postpartum depression, and sleep felt like one challenge too many. It was an incredibly difficult time, and the exhaustion only made everything feel more overwhelming. Our Sleep Wise consultant helped us find an approach that worked for Rowan and for our family, and getting the rest we desperately needed made such a difference.

Almost three years later, we found ourselves needing help again. Rowan suddenly couldn’t fall asleep unless one of us stayed in the room. This time, we were navigating separation anxiety, boundaries, and a three-and-a-half-year-old with plenty of opinions! The approach looked completely different because Rowan was completely different, but once again, we found our way back to independent sleep and rest.

Those experiences are a huge part of why I became a sleep consultant. They reinforced something I had learned the first time around: sleep challenges can look very different at every stage, and the right solution isn’t always the same, even for the same child.

There’s no shortage of sleep information out there. But as a tired parent, I didn’t have time to read ten books, listen to every podcast, or endlessly scroll for answers. I needed someone who could listen to what was happening, understand my child and our family, and help us figure out what made sense for us.

Today, I love combining my professional background in problem-solving with my personal experience as a mom to help families navigate sleep challenges with confidence. I know how isolating and overwhelming sleep struggles can feel, especially when you’re already stretched thin.

That’s the kind of support I want to provide for other families: an approach that considers your child, your family, and your goals, with someone in your corner helping you make sense of it all.

Sleep Philosophy

Good sleep is about more than getting through the night. I believe independent sleep gives children an important skill while giving the whole family the rest they need to feel more like themselves.
